South American avocados best to be sold in Turkey during winter months

As Turkish avocado harvest takes place in fall and African countries are preferred for supply during spring and early summer months, South American avocados are mostly preferred during the winter months, especially January and February by the Turkish importers. Peru is the main country followed by Mexico as the sourcing choice of the Turkish buyers.
