South Korean Market Prices for Pork Shoulder Expected to Rise within Two Weeks

Currently, the offer prices for pork shoulder butt in Korea are around KRW 5,900 (USD 4.59) per kg, and market prices are around KRW 4,700. (USD 3.66) per kg (Shoulder butt is a type of cut only found in imported meats, mostly used in restaurants for dishes like stir-fried spicy pork). Although the overall demand for meat is not good at present, market prices are expected to rise to KRW 4,900 - 5,000 (USD 3.81-3.89) per kg within two weeks.
