In the last three days in Ethiopia, better cloud coverage and accumulation have been observed in the southwest, central, northeast, and southern parts. Light to heavy rainfalls ranging from 71–32.2mm was recorded in Amhara, West, Central, East, and South Oromia, SNNPR, Gambella, South and Central Afar, North Somali, and South West Ethiopia. Raining this time will help enable farmers to prepare their farmlands and start sowing grains (sorghum, maize), vegetables (potato, garlic, onions), etc. It creates conducive weather also for the flowering of coffee plants.
