Refined Sunflower Oil Prices in Lithuania Increase Slightly in W40

Refined sunflower oil prices in Lithuania are slowly starting to rise again. The reason for the price increase is unclear and there is great uncertainty about supply volume and what prices will do in the future, especially as the agreement between Russia and Ukraine for shipments through the Black Sea ends mid November. Although the 2022 harvest is low, large volumes of oilseeds and oil are still available on the Ukrainian market and there is no shortage of sunflower oil in the domestic Lithuanian retail market. Lithuanian buyers are reporting that refined sunflower oil in W40 is trading at USD 1.32-1.35/L DAP.
