The first stone fruits (mostly nectarines) that arrived at the Ceagesp market in Brazil were small sizes ranging from 51-55mm, and were low in demand. Due to the high prices as pre season fruits and small fruit size, the demand remained low which lead to slow sales. The arrival of cheaper stone fruits into the market in week 25 has pushed wholesale price at BRL 30/9kg box of nectarines of Cat 1 fruit. The following are week 26 price expectations: -Black Splendor plums: EUR 15-16/9kg box (CIF-Santos, Cat1, caliber 65-70mm) -Black Splendor plums: EUR 14-15/9kg box (CIF-Santos, Cat1, smaller calibers) -Nectarines and Peaches: EUR 16-17/9 kg box (CIF-Santos, Cat 1, caliber 65-70mm) -Nectarines and Peaches: EUR 15-16/9 kg box (CIF-Santos, Cat 1, smaller calibers)
