Due to the Western Black Sea storm in W51, vessels full of fruits from Turkey to Russia have been waiting for ten days. It is predicted that the vessels will have to wait longer because there will be a storm again on Monday in W52. Since most of the products were going to Russia, the largest exporters stopped packaging and loading. This affected the price in orchards, especially of mandarins as they do not have a long shelf-life. Producers have reduced the price of mandarins on trees from USD 0.64/kg to USD 0.43/kg, down 33.3% in W51 to be able to sell.
