As the largest producer and exporter of instant coffee, Brazil exported to 101 countries in the world from January to November 2020. The chunk of the volume is well split between the Americas, Asia and Europe, while Africa and Oceania play a minor role.
However, a more detailed approach shows that the Brazilian presence in the EU countries, and also in the Middle East and China is quite low considering the relevance of these markets. The three main North American countries accounted for 24.1% of the Brazilian exports, followed by the Far East with 21.3%, Non-EU countries with 18.8% and South American countries with 17.6%.
The balance of 18.2% is spread across the rest of the world, with the EU countries being the most relevant of these. And, finally, the top 20 countries accounted for 83.4% of the share.
