During the past week (Dec 7th-Dec11th) hot and dry weather prevailed, reducing the Optimal / Adequate water condition on a national scale by 6%. The same occurred with the Excellent / Good crop condition throughout the planted area.

In the Province of Buenos Aires, where most of the area implanted for the 2020 cycle is concentrated, the most advanced fields are in flower bud stages, while most of the surface still transits vegetative stages without major water requirements, thus keeping the Adequate / Optimal growing condition still high.

Both in the North-East of Argentina and the North Center of Santa Fe, are going through stages of grain filling. The difference is that in the North-East, the climatic limitations registered during the planting window generated one of the lowest implanted areas, while in the North-Center of Santa Fe, 48% of the area reported Adequate / Optimal water condition.
