Russian exporters of sunflower oil to China fear the introduction of a duty, scheduled to go into effect from September 1, 2021, on the export of sunflower oil from Russia.

According to producers, the export of sunflower oil to China is already complicated by a number of factors, such as the lack of free containers for organizing export and a sharp increase in the cost of transportation. Therefore, altogether, the existing difficulties and the new export duty can only aggravate the situation and lead to a loss in the Chinese sales market.
