Supply volume of avocados in Europe outpaces demand due to continous production expansion of growers worldwide

For the first time during the winter season when avocado volumes are typically limited in Europe and demand outpaces supply, this year's overall supply is peaking at 4 million boxes, which is 32% higher than the average for this period.

To go on with the exact year-to-date supply volume increased this year: Chile continues to increase its avocado supply, with an increase of around 53% compared to the previous years. As for Colombia, the supply volume of avocado has been increased about 27% compared to 2020. Israeli avocado supply shows a significant increase of 157% compared to 2020. Mexico is the only country showing stable supply volume and a similar state compared to last year.
