Taiwan garlic importer favors Argentina garlic in season 2021 due to quality concerns

Taiwan's imported garlic is mostly from Argentina, Egypt, and Spain. There was a high rejection rate in Egypt and Spain shipments where more than 10 containers of garlic were rejected by Customs due to soil remnants found on garlics in 2020. As a result, most of the garlic importers favored Argentinian garlics when planning for season 2021/2022 import.
