Taiwan lettuce demand decline drastically due to COVID

Taiwan starts importing lettuce from early May to the end of October, with major origins from the USA and South Korea. Since Taiwan enters Phase 3 of COVID-19 status, where only the necessary operation remains open, the demand for lettuce has declined drastically. The major importer of lettuce sees a 40% decrease from the local buyers.
