Tanzania’s Government Will Establish a Cold Management System for Transporting Perishable Goods in 2023

Tanzania's Ministry of Agriculture released a national horticulture strategy, which will begin in 2023. The strategy will establish a strong national cold chain management system for the transportation of perishable horticultural produce, allowing all regulators, including TANROADS, TRA, Traffic Police, WMA, LGAs, etc., to provide expedited services when dealing with perishable cargo. Currently, the horticulture industry accounts for 38% of Tanzania's total agricultural exports.
