Promising Conditions for Mango Harvest in Northern Peru’s Tambogrande Region in Late 2024

The northern Peruvian coast is experiencing favorable temperatures for the anticipated fruit production in late 2024. Recent temperatures have ranged between 22°C and 23°C, lower than the 24°C recorded during the same period in 2023. This temperature difference is significant as it impacted the mango harvest volume in 2023. If the trend of lower temperatures continues in 2024 compared to 2023, it could lead to a higher production of mangoes in Tambogrande than in the previous season (2023/24). The mango harvest in Tambogrande is expected to commence in late 2024 or early 2025.
