The increases in watermelon crops in Terengganu state, which currently exceeds 1000 ha, makes it one of the main watermelon producing states in Malaysia. Despite a large number of watermelon crops, the State Department of Agriculture taught 3,000 farmers to plant not simultaneously and on a scheduled basis to avoid product spillage, such as in early 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic.
