Egypt’s Tetra Pack Pasteurized Milk Price Rose 5% MoM in Dec-23

The price of Tetra Pack pasteurized milk in Egypt experienced a 5% month-on-month (MoM) increase, reaching USD 1.33/liter by the end of Dec-23. This price surge is due to the escalating expenses associated with breeding cows and importing tetra-pack packaging materials from countries like Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, when compared to Dec-22, there is a substantial 40% year-on-year (YoY) increase in the price.
