Despite this reduction, Thai mangosteen maintains a premium position in the market compared to Vietnamese mangosteen, typically priced between USD 2/kg and USD 2.5/kg. This significant price variance underscores the considerable demand and perceived value of Thai mangosteen, especially during this period when local alternatives are unavailable.
