Thailand Canned Tuna Prices set to Increase

Thailand's Canned Tuna manufacturers have no options but to pass on the increased costs of raw materials of producing canned tuna to their customers. Earlier this month, the price of sunflower oil, which is a core component, went up by 6.5% and the price of cans used to store the contents is expected to go up by 13% in Jan 2022. Hence, suppliers are resorting to offer mixed sunflower oil and brine combinations.
