In Thailand, since August 2022, egg production and prices were at a reasonable level of USD 0.10 USD/egg, but in November, the price of chicken eggs tends to drop to USD 0.09/egg. This price decrease is due to an increase in productivity and the weather during this period is suitable for raising laying hens. Together with the problem of the border trade situation, the export of chicken eggs has decreased. The egg prices in some countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong are higher than USD 0.11 USD/egg. Thailand is pushing for annual exports to the Singapore and Hong Kong markets to top 60M eggs. With large and medium-sized egg producers cooperating to export to Hong Kong and Singapore, this will help increase the income of the country and stabilize egg prices in the country. From the beginning of 2022 until September, 180.66M eggs have been exported, valued at USD 19.8M.
