Floods Affecting Chicken Supply in Farms in Eastern Thailand

Eastern Thailand has been hit by heavy rainfall and flash flooding affecting many chicken farms. One farm in Rayong estimates over 140K of their chickens died due to the floods, causing economic damage of over USD 275K. The decay in chicken supply is affecting the processors and exporters of chicken and will increase Thai chicken prices in the upcoming weeks.
