The Volume of Spanish Fresh Plums Produced in 2022 Decreased by 5% YoY

According to final reports from the 2022 Spanish plum season, production volume was down 5% this year, at 173,975MT, compared to 182,826MT in 2021. Meanwhile, export volumes have decreased by 27% YoY to 53,973 MT from 73,488 MT in 2021. Compared to the last seven seasons, average export volume this year fell 11% YoY to 60,000 MT.
