As the supply of tomatoes in the wholesale fell short due to the deceleration of the winter crop harvest in Sumaré (SP) and Paty do Alferes (RJ) prices went up in most of the markets. In addition, as a good part of the fruits that were delayed in ripening have already been early harvested, the offer was lower.
Last week of Nov.2020 the price of 3A long-life salad tomatoes, box of 18-20 kg, presented an increase of 21.6%, at R$ 55.25 in São Paulo state, +5.49% in Campinas city in São Paulo at R$ 60.95; +22.68% in Minas Gerais state, at R$ 53.16.
