Absence of Rainfall in the Peruvian Highlands Negatively Affected Potato Planting Volumes

The absence of rainfall affected the planting of potatoes in the Peruvian highlands. Potatoes are sensitive to low moisture, as a result, producers have not planted as many potatoes this season as in previous years. Producers forecast that in 2023 the price of potatoes will increase significantly due to the lack of production volumes during the harvest period.
