The banana price might increase in the French market

The volume of ACP and dollar bananas is sufficient but not excessive in the French market. The demand shows a slight increase, and growers mention a small price increase. Guadeloupean and Martinican bananas are less widely available on a higher price basis. Bananas from Guadeloupe and Martinique have an average price of EUR 1.05 per kg. The price of dollar bananas was around EUR 0.90 per kg in WK 2 and has been similar in Rungis.
