A ginger producer in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, the country's second largest ginger-producing region, is conducting air transport trials to start a new trade route with the United Kingdom, which easened the access to its market after the Brexit. São Paulo production is geared towards the domestic market. Currently, the bulk of the international trade of such product in Brazil is dominated by the state of Espirito Santo. Once this route becomes viable, it is expected that more local producers will be attracted to follow it.
