The budburst of the vines has started in the South of France

The season is launched in the vineyards of Occitania, Provence, Rhone Valley, and even in Bordeaux, where several plots of vines have budded. However, the Chambers of Agriculture of the regions mentioned above estimate that the phenological stages are on average 8 days later than in 2021. Winegrowers are now hoping that their vineyards will not experience a devastating frost as in March 2021.
