The selling price of chicken has increased slightly due to a pork shortage and an increasing demand of meat consumption. With the country’s opening after the worse of the pandemic, demand in the country has increased even more. The average selling price of chicken in the second quarter was $1.55/kg, an increase of 6.5% QoQ, and the sales volume of chicken in the second quarter increased by 8.9 thousand mt.
