Ukrainian cherry prices 15-20% higher than usual for this season

An unusually cold spring, an abundance of precipitation and a lack of sunny days led to a decrease in both the cherry harvest itself and the quality of berries in Ukraine. Now, at the height of the season, the retail price of these berries start at $ 4 per kilogram. This leads to low consumption of berries domestically.
