Due to unfavorable spring vegetation, there has been low production for monoflon honey (acacia, linden, etc.). This stimulated a rise in prices; the prices for acacia honey are up to USD 10-12.00 /kg (farm gate).
As for sunflower honey, which is produced in large quantities, the situation is reversed- Ukraine is expecting a record sunflower harvest. Earlier, under such a market situation, honey prices fell to USD 1-1.20/kg, and farmers began to hold sales to stimulate price increases. But nevertheless, most beekeepers sell honey at current prices - USD 1.70-2.00/kg (bulk in barrel farm gate).
