The dragon fruit season in Vietnam is about to begin. When dragon fruit in Vietnam is off-season or a shortage occurs due to its high demand, Vietnamese exporters consider sourcing dragon fruits from Thailand temporarily and provide to domestic market until they harvest their own crop. One thing to add is that market price of dragon fruits in Vietnam is relatively lower than the ones produced in Thailand.
