The Ethiopian Commodity Exchange market has strengthened its modern marketing system and introduced five types of products into the electronic marketing system in the 2022/23 fiscal year, including rice, wheat, cardamom, incense, and beans. On April 7, 2023, Grade 3 rice was traded on the electronic trading platform at the Bure branch at a price of USD 118 per quintal, and a total of 60 quintals of rice were traded for over USD 7,000.
