The first off-season Golden Nam Dok Mai mango has been released on the Thai market. The variety comes from farms around Bangkok such as Pathumthani, Suphanburi, Uthaitani, and Southern like Prachuabkirikhun. The quantities, however, are quite short at around 5 MT in total. Moreover, their quality is not good because of the often falling rain. Growers have found "Black Dot" and "Red lines" on their skin. At the packing house, the purchasing price is around 80-90 THB/KG or 2.19-2.47 USD/Kg for mixed sizes.
