The first wild growing blueberries have already begun to ripen in the western regions of Ukraine

It is expected that the peak of the harvest of blueberries, as well as the decline in prices for it, will take place in the last week of July. At the same time, the berries will be transferred to enterprises specializing in freezing fruits and vegetables. Traditionally, the local population is engaged in picking berries. The berry harvesting business brings a good income to the villagers. Already today, they offer the wild grown blueberries to local producers at a price of $ 2.5 per kilogram.
