The 22/23 harvest of Argentinian wheat was originally estimated to reach around 20M tons, but the estimate in W41 stood at 16.5M tons, and some experts believe it could drop further to 14-15M tons. The drop in production is caused by heavy droughts in the country, causing a loss of 10% of production so far in the 22/23 harvest. Exporters fear that the supply drop will make the government back down with the already granted export quotas.
