A recent heatwave has hit Robertson in the Western Cape of South Africa in November, has negatively affected the current fruit crop harvest. Additionally, the water levels of dams in the area are not at their required levels, which means farmers have to use their water sparingly to ensure sufficient water levels to get through the season. Temperatures as high as 40 degrees Celsius have been recorded on farms over the last few days.
