The high volume of imported mineral water in Indonesia amid the growth in production by the national industry

Despite the strong growth of the export of Mineral water from Indonesia, the demand for imported water and the import volume of it in Indonesia is still rather high. In the previous two years, the volume of imported water was in the neighborhood of 2 KMT and 2.2 KMT respectively, and so far in 2020, the number has even reached 1.8 KMT, which is on pace to equalize its import volume from last year. Most of these imported mineral water products are the ones with premium quality and can only be found in modern retailers across Indonesia and authorized distributors across the country.
