Soybean prices at the retail level are predicted to be stable and even tend to fall from this mid-June. Previously, soybean prices tended to rise since the end of last year until last May. The tempeh (Indonesian Soybean cake) & tofu producers suspect that this price stability trend is due to the entry of imported soybeans into the market. The tempeh & tofu industry is the biggest consumer of soybeans in Indonesia.
