Following the harvest season of watermelon in the Northern Borneo region, the price of this commodity experienced a slight decrease this week. In the previous week, watermelons were sold at IDR 10.000/Kg at some of the major markets across the region, while it is now sold at IDR 8.000/Kg. At the moment, most sellers in the markets are able to lower the price down as the high demand for this commodity can be accommodated by the abundant supply as the farmers in the region can supply the market with around 3 MT of watermelon on a daily basis.
