The representative of the Cashew Nut Association of Mozambique has announced this week that the market price of the Mozambican cashew nut has fallen by 25% due to the effects of Covid-19 on demand. The representative also mentions that the protective policies applied by India and Vietnam and their increasing competition may also be causing a reduction in the price of the Mozambican Cashew, especially because of the lack of update in domestic response measures.
