The non-stunn method of chicken slaughtering needs to be issued for exporting chicken products to Saudi Arabia.

Despite the list of producers and exporters of frozen chicken from Thailand that SFDA has approved, many authorized exporters cannot export to Saudi Arabia right away because the non-stun slaughtering scheme strongly impacts production, yield, and loss. In addition, the non-stun slaughtering caused many defects such as red blood vessels, blood spots, and bruised meat. These are unacceptable defects which be criteria controlled by chicken products' quality.
