The potential market expansion of Indonesian coconut oil to the Central America region by early 2021

As a part of the market expansion to the Central America region, a number of coconut oil manufacturers from Indonesia have recently arranged a shipment of samples of crude coconut oil (CCNO) and refined coconut oil (RBDO) to Panama. The early stage of this market expansion was done by introducing Indonesian products to the potential buyers and direct distributors in Panama, who would potentially be handling shipment and distribution of CCNO and RDBO from Indonesia to other countries in this region such as Honduras and Costa Rica. The potential switch from palm oil to coconut oil has long been a motion by the consumers in this region and it is projected to come into realization by early 2021.
