Price of Chinese Pine Nut Seeds in the UK Expected to Decrease in October

Market prices for pine nuts from China are USD 29.00/kg CFR UK in W36 for the 2021 crop. From October market prices for the 2022 crop are anticipated at USD 24.50/kg CFR UK which is a 15.5% decrease in price. The price drop is the result of raw seed being available in China for processing from late September from Mongolia and Russia and the need to grow sales after COVID-19 trading restrictions.
