In Morocco, the summer octopus season commenced in June and will last till September. The season started with high prices compared to last winter season. The market is seeing a price increase of approximately 25% which is pushing the exporters specializing in frozen seafood to try to lower the prices by purchasing very low quantities and thus letting the demand impact the offer.
