Price Increase of Tahiti Lime in Colombia During W18

During W18, the price of Tahiti lime increased in Colombia from USD 0.87/kg (COP 4,000/kg) to USD 1.11/kg (COP 5,113/kg). The increase is due to the scarcity of products from Viterbo (Caldas), Girón, Lebrija, Villanueva, Galán, Hato (Santander), Patía (Cauca), Andalucía, Tuluá, Alcalá (Valle del Cauca), Espinal, Flandes, San Luis (Tolima), Uramita, Santa Bárbara, Abejorral, Montebello, Cañasgordas (Antioquia) and El Rosario (Nariño) as well as the export pressure and the price paid internationally for Tahiti lime.
