Following a strong attempt of price recovery in Brazil in the past few months, cocoa bean price fell by 3% in December, according to the National Council of Cocoa Producers (CNPC). In the year, it has appreciated 35.2%, slightly above the devaluation of 28.5% of the Brazillian 'Real' currency against the US dollar, remaining among the least appreciated Brazilian crops in the season.
