The Russian government has distributed subsidies to the regions to stimulate the production of oilseeds. The corresponding order was signed on October 31, 2020 and posted on the official portal of legal information. The total amount of subsidies is 3.298 billion rubles. The largest amounts - 827.9 million and 370.9 million rubles - were allocated respectively to the Amur Region and the Primorsky Territory, which are major soybean producers in the Russian Federation. The Kursk region will receive 346.9 million rubles, the Krasnodar Territory - 200.1 million rubles, the Tambov region - 125.4 million rubles. In total, farmers from 40 regions will receive subsidies.
