The SADC records an increase in the fish production.

The Southern African Development Community has this year recorded an increase in the production yield in aquaculture activities, rising from 92 773 recorded in 2019 to 100 950 recorded in 2020. This has been partly due to the implementation of the SADC Regional Aquaculture Strategy, which the member states implemented using national aquaculture methods in accordance with the regional strategy.
