Taiwan Suspends Fuji Imports From South Africa

Taiwan, who largely imports Fuji apples from South Africa, has suspended all apple imports from South Africa. With the closure of the Taiwanese market, some South African apple producers in the Western Cape region have decided to close their cold stores and stop packing Fuji apples as they are waiting for better prices in the market and investigating alternative markets.
