In May-24, wheat prices significantly declined 28.57% month-on-month (MoM) in the Egyptian market, reaching USD 521.30 per metric ton (mt), down from USD 729.82/mt. The price decrease was due to the high availability of wheat and the arrival of new shipments from various destinations to Egypt.
