Tomato exports from Turkey to Iraq have re-started again after the Iraqi government removed the import ban on tomatoes. The Iraqi government regularly brings periodical import bans on tomatoes to protect local growers during the harvest time.
This time the ban was instituted in July and came to an end at the end of October. Turkey has exported 8 million USD worth of tomatoes in 2020 and 17 million USD worth of tomatoes in 2019.
